SAVANNAH – Jack J. Moore, age 76, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Candler Hospital. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah retired in 1991 from Great Dane Trailers after forty-two years of service.
He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and served on the Pastoral Board.
Surviving are his wife, Janis W. Moore; five children, Jack P. and Connie Moore, Keith and Teresa Moore, Debra M. and Rick Stamper, Robin M. and Rick Gray, and Kevin Moore; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
